el alma
the soul
With love from
Santiago de Maria
I’m Fátima Alvarenga, but most people call me Ti. The idea for santí came after a trip to my mom’s village, Santiago de María, El Salvador, where I realized that soul work should feel familiar, not inaccessible.
Since our first event in OTTAWA, CANADA, santí has grown into a community that’s reached hundreds of people — in studios, schools, and sacred spaces.
Along the way, we’ve:
Created and ran signature series & events
Launched a conscious living shop
Brought yoga to elementary school children in both El Salvador and Canada.
Taught internationally in the US and El Salvador
Shared classes in English and Spanish
I say “we” because this has never been just me. It’s the partners, friends, and soul-searchers who’ve shown up to create this community.
Safe to say that santí has expanded beyond my wildest dreams. What began as simple events and Palo Santo bundles has expanded to carry our community deeper into practice, presence, and everyday ceremony.
That’s why, whether we’re flowing, breathing, or grounding, the mission stays the same, to spread love through yoga.

Most yoga communities speak to those already in the bubble. We speak to the ones outside of it: tired, disconnected, searching ~ who may not even have words for what they’re feeling.
At santi, we don’t care how you look or perform. This is for anyone who craves more from their practice. For anyone who feels out of place in polished studios but knows their soul is sacred. For those who didn’t grow up with yoga, but feel pulled toward something deeper.
